Job summary

In-Shape Fitness in Fairfield, CA is seeking energetic Swim Instructors to deliver our year-round Swim Lesson Program, planning age-appropriate lessons and promoting water safety for members of all ages.

The role requires the ability to teach, maintain a safe environment, communicate with parents, complete session trackers, and possibly lifeguard or teach private/group lessons. Must be 18+, lifeguard/CPR certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or have a HS diploma or GED.
• Provide age-appropriate swim lessons and ensure water safety.
• Must be able to teach classes to In-Shape standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach own classes according to In-Shape standards.
• Maintain safe environment and enforce pool rules.
• Engage with swim participants and communicate with parents.
• Complete session trackers and report incidents as required.
• Assist in lifeguard duties and private/group lessons as needed.
• Support member community through consistent experience.
