Goldfish Swim School - Danvers is seeking energetic Swim Instructors & Lifeguards to teach kids 4 months to 12 years with our Goldfish curriculum. You’ll promote water safety, build confidence, and make learning an engaging adventure.

You’ll maintain safety, monitor swimmers, and communicate progress to families while enjoying a flexible schedule and on-the-job training. Growth opportunities and bonuses are available in a fun, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Basic swimming skills are essential; able to swim 150 feet.
• Background check required.
• Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications due within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons using Goldfish Swim School curriculum to promote water safety and skill development.
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing pool safety rules and monitoring swimmers.
• Assess students’ progress and keep parents updated on achievements.
• Be a positive representative of Goldfish Swim School to welcome and value families.
• Use creativity and problem-solving to help students overcome challenges in the water.
• Prepare the pool area for lessons and assist with equipment setup and cleanup.
• Report maintenance issues and accidents promptly and complete required documentation.
• Participate in cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and inviting facility.
• Attend required workshops and in-service training sessions to sharpen skills.

The safety of our swimmers, parents, and team members is our top priority. Goldfish Swim School adheres to all CDC, WHO, and local safety guidelines to ensure a healthy and secure environment.Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience as a lifeguard, coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is a plus, but not required.
• Basic swimming skills are essential. You must be able to swim at least 150 feet in a simple freestyle or breaststroke technique. This skill will be tested on your first day of employment.
• Must pass a background check.
  

Required Certifications:

• Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are required within 90 days of hire. Don’t worry - Goldfish Swim School will provide the training!
