Job summary

A local swim school is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach water safety and swimming techniques. This entry-level position pays between $15 to $17 per hour and includes paid training with no prior swim experience needed. Candidates must be able to work with children and possess strong interpersonal skills. Lifeguard certification, along with CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, must be obtained within 90 days. Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard or youth sports instructor preferred.
• Must obtain Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on water safety and swim techniques.
• Enforce safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students' progress and complete required paperwork.
• Interact with parents about students' swim skills.
