Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School in Farmington Hills is seeking an energetic Swim Instructor who loves children and swimming. You will teach lessons, create plans, and help kids become confident swimmers in a fun, safe environment at our onsite facility.

Starting pay is $15.50+ per hour, with paid training, weekly pay, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities. No experience is required as we provide comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Provide a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and Aqua-Tots procedures.
• Attend monthly in-service training.
• Track student swim progression through the levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• 4-6 hour shifts teaching 8 or 9 classes back to back.
• Availability to work one weekend shift from 8:30am-3pm (Saturday or Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to children of all ages and skill levels.
• Create and implement lesson plans.
• Conduct group and individual lessons, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Ensure pool area safety and maintain a clean teaching environment.
