Charleston Swim School is seeking a Swim Teacher to inspire and educate swimmers of all ages in a fun, safety-focused environment. You will lead lessons, assess progress, and tailor plans to individual goals, while communicating with parents about development.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Experience teaching swim lessons or coaching is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for swimming and student development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each swimmer.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and areas for improvement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and teaching materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Promote swim safety awareness and best practices to students and families.
