Job summary

A swimming school in Ellicott City is seeking Swim Instructors to teach swimming skills according to the SafeSplash® curriculum. Candidates must be CPR-certified and able to work between 3 to 30 hours per week at a pay rate of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. Instructors will receive training in the SafeSplash® curriculum and are expected to provide positive feedback to students while maintaining class organization. 50% of one uniform's cost will be covered by the school, emphasizing professionalism in appearance.

Qualifications

• Current CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adults, swimmers, and infants required.
• Experience teaching swimmers 6 months to 10 years preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills according to SafeSplash® curriculum.
• Provide positive corrective feedback to students.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely class starts.
