Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym is seeking a dedicated swim instructor in Fitchburg, WI to teach kids from 6 months to 12 years, partner with mentors, and build lasting relationships with families. The role emphasizes safety, active engagement, and creating fun learning experiences in and around the pool.

Set evenings and weekend shifts support students and part-timers, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles as you gain experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work with children in a customer-facing role.
• 1-2 years leading or training others in a structured team setting.
• Must love working with kids and bring positive energy.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
• Prior teaching or swim experience is a plus, but we provide paid training.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Minimum 1-2 years of formal workplace experience with children, including infants, in a customer-facing role
• At least 1-2 years of experience leading or training others in a structured team setting
• Must love working with kids and bringing positive energy
• Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with great communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule
• Comfortable in the water and active on your feet
• Previous teaching or swim experience a plus, but not required - we provide paid training!

Pay Range

USD $18.90 - USD $23.63 /Hr.
