Job summary

The Alaska Club is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors in Anchorage to lead and support swim lesson programs for all ages. You will deliver engaging lessons, encourage safe swimming habits, and help participants build confidence in the water.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, potential additional hours as Lifeguard, and opportunities for career development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to swim freestyle / crawl stroke.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and instruction to swimmers of all ages in swim lesson programs.
• Support fellow instructors and work as a team to run lessons smoothly.
• Promote safety and develop life-saving skills among participants.

Our Swim Instructors provide leadership and instruction to swimmers of all ages in our swim lesson programs. Pay:

up to $15 / hour DOE

Requirements:

• 16 years of age or older
• Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Teaching experience (preferred)
• Weekend availability (preferred)

Working Conditions:

• Primarily working with children
• Supporting fellow instructors and cooperating as a team
• Standing and moving in pool to facilitate lessons
