COMPANY MISSION

Drowning is unfortunately the leading cause of accidental death for children. But since 1981, British Swim School has been on a mission to stop that. We are a nationwide company with over 200 locations teaching more than 20,000 students every week to help save lives!

REQUIREMENTS FOR SWIM INSTRUCTORS

As a swim instructor, you will teach students of all ages in accordance with the British Swim School aquatics program. Even if you are not an expert swim instructor, that’s ok! We can train anyone on how to teach the way we teach, but here is what we do need from you:

1. You need to be a “swimmer”. Ideally, you have an understanding of all four strokes and an overall appreciation for the water. Prior swim team experience is preferred but not required.
2. You must love working with children and seeing them progress.
3. You need to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work. Having fun is mandatory!
4. Be able to start weekdays at 3:00 pm.
5. Reliable transportation to our Cypress location.
6. Current lifeguard certification preferred, or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment. Reimbursement is available after 6 months of employment with us.
7. We swim year-round and are looking for team members who are willing and able to grow with us beyond the summer months.

Hours Available - Tue & Thur 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sat. 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Sun 9:00 - 2:00
