Description:

Support the execution of Pool/Swim programs specific to the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge. Instruct and monitor various physical activities, provide personal attention to guest’s needs, and ensure safety.

Essential Functions:
  1. Teaches group classes to members.
  2. Performs one-on-one private sessions.
  3. Develops Swim Program Designs for location guests to continue their swim routines.
  4. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of equipment and facility.
  5. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
  6. Performs special projects delegated by management.
  7. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
Requirements:

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience: Applicants must hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification. Current required local and/or state professional certification and/or license; high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or be able to obtain a work permit; proven instructor skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service.

Must possess willingness to learn and perform new fitness programs, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Wages: $17.50 Base pay + Commissions for private swim lessons
