Job summary

CP League City Fitness Center LLC is seeking a dedicated swim instructor to teach swimmers of all ages using our established curriculum. You will assess progress, provide feedback, and adapt lessons while prioritizing safety and proper pool protocols.

We value clear communication, patience, and the ability to motivate learners in group or one-on-one settings within both indoor and outdoor pool environments. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required based on schedule.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding certifications required.
• WSI or equivalent Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.
• Experience as a swim instructor or competitive swimmer preferred.
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic and able to motivate learners.
• Ability to work with children, teens, and adults in group and one-on-one settings.

Responsibilities

• Instruct swimmers of all ages and abilities using established curriculum and teaching methods.

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere to build confidence and motivate students.
• Keep accurate attendance records and track progress for each swimmer.
• Collaborate with other instructors, lifeguards, and facility staff as needed.

• Ability to work with children, teens, and adults in both group and one-on-one settings.

Working Conditions:

• Work performed in indoor or outdoor pool environments.
• Requires prolonged periods of standing, swimming, and exposure to water and pool chemicals.

May involve evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on class schedu
