The YMCA of the Foothills in La Canada, CA is seeking a Swim Instructor to deliver safe, engaging swim lessons for youth and adults in alignment with YMCA values.
We require at least 1 year of teaching swim lessons, current CPR/AED/First Aid, and the ability to work within a 1:8 ratio. Background checks and pool-safety training are mandatory. Training for YMCA certifications will be provided within 90 days of hire.

The SWIM INSTRUCTOR is responsible for carrying out variety of tactics and programs that are aligned with the Association’s strategic direction. The staff member will work effectively with program participants in meaningful and safe swim programs and activities that allow and provide for the best possible experience for youth focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
