British Swim School of Fort Collins is hiring friendly Swim Instructors to teach children in a fun, safe environment. No prior swim experience is required; training is provided and you’ll learn our proven water-survival techniques for children as young as three months old.

We welcome individuals who are passionate about teaching kids, building confidence, and making a lasting impact. Compensation ranges and flexible opportunities accompany a supportive, drama-free team culture.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic personality.
• Experience working with children.
• Customer service skills.
• Swimming experience: 1–2 years preferred.
• Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) preferred (but can be provided to the right candidate).

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming to preschool and elementary-aged kids.
• Prioritize safety and proper technique during lessons.
• Engage with parents to communicate progress.
• Follow the British Swim School approach and participate in training.

Since 1981, British Swim School has been the pioneer of teaching water survival skills to children as young as three months old and working with swimmers on stroke development after they fall in love with the sport of swimming. We are doing our part to stop drowning from continuing as the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4 yrs. We are a team of people serious about saving lives and serious about having fun while doing it - but not too serious because that would offset the fun, of course.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the "Survival of the Littlest".
