South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking part-time Swim Instructors to teach lessons at all pools. No experience required for non-certified roles, with free initial training and the possibility of certification through our program.
WSIs and non-certified instructors earn hourly wages between $17.05 and $21.70, with additional private lesson hours after qualification. Flexible evening shifts, Saturday mornings, and weekend availability are appreciated.

*We offer reimbursement of course fees (if WSI Certificationis obtained through SSPRD, excluding the $40 certification fee)after completing 3 full sessions of instruction. Non-Certified SwimInstructors will be provided free initial training. Must be able to instruct 2 evenings classes a week and/orSaturday mornings. Additional hours are available once qualified andapproved to teach private lessons at a starting rate of $17.00 perhour for Non-Certified Swim Instructors and $19.85 per hour for WSICertified Swim Instructors.

In addition, we maintain nearly3,800 acres of developed and open space land, including 119multi-purpose athletic fields, more than 100 parks, nearly 80 miles oftrails, 60 playgrounds, 56 tennis courts, and the 880-acre SouthPlatte Park.
