Job summary

Loudoun County Government is seeking qualified applicants to teach life-saving skills as Swim Instructors. This role involves providing fun learning experiences at multiple community centers. Candidates are not required to have previous experience as training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include delivering curriculum-based lessons, promoting swim participation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Minimum qualifications include completion of the 8th grade and lifting capabilities. Preferred qualifications encompass certifications and experience working with children.

Qualifications

• Completion of the 8th grade.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
• Current Lifeguarding Instructor certification and/or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional experiences through curriculum‑based lessons.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Maintain accurate course records.
