Job summary

Quikrete is hiring a Sweeper Operator at our Katy, TX plant to operate and maintain sweeper equipment for cleaning ready-mix trucks and sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of industrial experience, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Safety and reliability are essential as you perform inspections and light maintenance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of ready-mix sweepers and/or related heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to obtain and maintain a medical card.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Operate ready-mix sweeper equipment to clean construction sites, roadways, parking lots, and other designated areas.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure sweeper equipment remains in safe, reliable working condition.
