Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, based in Maryland, seeks a Pool/Float Administrator to lead ambulatory surgery facilities on an interim, forward-deployed basis. This full‑time role rotates across facilities within the region, delivering operational, financial, and quality leadership as needs arise.

You will partner with medical staff and governing boards, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and support continuity during leadership transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

United Surgical Partners International is currently seeking a Pool / Float Administrator who can forward deploy to lead facilities on an interim basis as needed. The role is a full-time role that will rotate to serve various facilities within assigned region and / or outlying regions as needed.

Northeast/Great Lakes/Mid-Atlantic - but based in MD.

Job Summary

The Pool / Float Administrator serves as a full-time, forward-deployed leader, providing interim administrative oversight for ambulatory surgery facilities as needed. This role is responsible for directing facility operations, supporting financial and quality performance, and partnering with medical staff and governing boards. Assignments may rotate across facilities within an assigned region and, when necessary, outlying regions.

Required Experience:

Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• Multi-specialty ASC Administrator experience is required
• Minimum of three years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience
• Experience working closely with physicians and clinical leadership
• Experience with fully managing a budget and hitting/exceeding financial goals in a healthcare leadership position
