Job summary

Language Services Associates in the Richmond, VA area is seeking Swahili interpreters to support LEP communities. As an independently contracted interpreter, you will facilitate communication across a variety of settings and assignments.

You will deliver high-quality customer service, adhere to professional conduct and confidentiality, and report for assignments as needed. Access to personal or public transport is expected to reach client locations.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Swahili.
• Excellent client service skills.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications (CMI, CCHI) preferred.

Language Services Associates is looking for Swahili interpreters in the Richmond, VA area. As a member of LSA's network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
