SVS Vision is hiring an Optometric Technician in Allen Park, MI. This full-time role provides clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry (OD) to enhance patient satisfaction and exam efficiency.

The incumbent works with the Professional Services Department and participates in refraction, tests, and patient care. The position requires strong computer skills, healthcare protocol knowledge, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in improving exam efficiency and patient experience.

• Perform refraction and case history review.
• Conduct non-contact tonometry, auto-refractor, and visual acuity testing.
• Measure blood pressure and use the lensometer.
• Capture fundus photos and perform OCT testing.
• Administer eye drops and support supervising OD as needed.

The Ophthalmic Technician provides clinical support for the Doctor of Optometry (OD) to increase patient satisfaction and elevate exam efficiency. This positionr eports to the Professional Services Department.
