Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation is seeking a Senior Vice President, International Relations to lead our global engagement strategy, building and managing relationships, influence, and operational infrastructure that advance our In Service to Soccer vision within the international soccer ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Multilingual — fluency in at least one language beyond English is advantageous.
• Extensive international/corporate affairs experience (15+ years) with federations or sports governance.
• Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes across complex stakeholder networks.
• Credibility to represent the organization at high levels of global football governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison to FIFA, Concacaf, and other confederations; develop influence and advocacy strategies.
• Build and steward relationships with national federations and international stakeholders; drive outcomes aligned with 2032 Shared Goals.
• Manage geopolitical, governance, and reputational risk; support crisis response with Comms and Government Affairs.
• Oversee international delegation hosting, executive engagements, and protocol to support strategic objectives.
• Lead international stakeholder strategy for major events; pursue hosting opportunities; drive commercial advancement.
