Job Overview

ENSCO is seeking a Sustainment Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer for the Space Systems Command (SSC) Program Management Office located at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. The role supports Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities for advanced Military and Commercial Satellite Communications and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, plan, coordinate and execute testing on the Family of Beyond Line‑of‑Sight Terminals (FAB‑T), Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global‑ASNT), Time Distribution Subsystem Pre‑Processor (TDSPP), MILSATCOM Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS) and other MILSATCOM systems, subsystems and devices.
• Provide engineering and technical support, including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, system‑level anomaly resolution, and identification of software or hardware defects to evaluate modifications for interoperability issues.
• Author and deliver technical documentation such as test plans, test procedures, system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and test reports.
• Travel up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.

Qualifications (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of leadership/management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with DoD/USAF/USSF test processes and documentation.
• 5+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
• 5+ years of experience working in a highly competitive multi‑contractor environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
• Active Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications (Desired)

• 5+ years of Developmental Test experience supporting a DoD Lead Developmental Test Organization or similar.
• 5+ years of Operational Test experience supporting a DoD Operational Test Agency or similar.
• Experience with cryptographic equipment handling and use.
• Understanding of basic cyber security testing and DoD STIG compliance.
• INCOSE certification (e.g., ASEP, CSEP, ESEP).
• Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment processes.
• Understanding of Narrowband/Wideband/Protected SATCOM capabilities and operation/maintenance of FAB‑T, MMS, Global‑ASNT, and/or GBS.
• Experience using Jira/Confluence or other Digital Engineering applications such as MBSE.

• Salary Range: $129,000 – $161,000 USD
