Job summary

Baxter in Batesville, Arkansas is seeking a Project Manager for the Sustaining Engineering team in Patient Support Systems to drive design changes for medical device products such as hospital beds and equipment. You will lead cross-functional teams, plan schedules, track risks, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• 1+ years of project management experience coordinating multiple sizes of projects.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, regulatory, Marketing, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customers, suppliers, or Baxter sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams from planning through implementation.
• Plan and execute projects using PM tools, coach team members, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Lead multiple small to medium projects with limited supervision.
• Communicate status updates up and down the organization.
• Support change control KPI reporting and project reporting.
• Create and maintain project schedules.
• Assist in tracking and communicating project risks.
• Support continuous improvement within the sustaining engineering project team.
