Job summary

The United Nations Development Coordination Office (DCO) in New York seeks a Sustainable Development Officer (Complex Settings), P-3 to guide RCs and RCOs on UN sustainable development offers in crisis and complex settings.

You will work within the Complex Settings Support Section in the SDG Coordination, Policy and Programme Division, reporting to the Chief of Complex Settings Support, and contribute to rapid adaptation of operating footprints in evolving development landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Guide RCs and RCOs on the UN sustainable development offer in complex settings, including crisis and mission contexts.
• Collaborate with the UN Peace and Security Pillar and humanitarian partners to ensure coherent country-level responses.
