Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to promote sustainable practices, measure performance, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.

You will collaborate across departments to implement programs, collect KPIs, and prepare internal and external sustainability reports, while supporting sourcing and procurement to improve product sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles and industry standards.

The Sustainability Specialist is an established performer that focuses on enhancing sustainability performance, promoting sustainable practices, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This role will assist in developing, implementing, and managing Sustainability initiatives across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Help implement Sustainability programs and initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
• Support Sustainability projects, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability into business operations and decision-making processes.
• Collect, analyze, and report on sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders, including annual sustainability reports.
• Track progress towards Sustainability goals and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Document sustainable sourcing policies and supplier assessments.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier compliance with sustainability standards.
• Work with procurement and supply chain teams to enhance the sustainability of products and services.
• Participate in cross-functional teams focused on Sustainability projects and initiatives.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
