Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability planning, environmental science, urban planning, public administration or related field.
  • Two years of experience in sustainability.
  • Experience developing policy and implementing programs.
  • Experience working with diverse communities and public officials.
  • Experience with data management, reporting and interactive information sharing.
  • Experience with web content management systems and social media communication.

  • Develop resources, policies, and programs aligned with the City’s Sustainability goals.
  • Focus on sustainable land-use, policy, climate action, and transportation.
  • Engage the public and stakeholders; prepare staff reports and outreach materials.
  • Communicate findings publicly with clear data reporting and visuals.
  • Collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects and timelines.
