Job summary

TPG is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Research Assistant for the DARL team to support dashboards, reporting automation, and sustainability analytics. The role focuses on emissions accounting, regulatory reporting, climate risk assessment, and LP engagement.

Ideal candidates are graduate students or advanced undergrads with strong Excel and programming skills. Location is U.S.-based with a 20-hour work week and a Jan–May 2027 internship window.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
• Must be located in one of the listed states during the internship
• Graduate student or advanced undergraduate (i.e. final year)
• Excellent data analytics skills, including Excel and at least one other statistical tool (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SQL)
• Advanced data visualization experience using dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Streamlit)
• Experience or interest in responsible investing, corporate social responsibility, climate/sustainability, or related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, urgency, and quality work
• Excellent written and spoken communication; fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Support the Data Analytics & Reporting, and LP Engagement team with sustainability analytics projects, dashboards, and automated reporting
• Assist with emissions accounting, regulatory reporting, and climate risk assessments
• Contribute to ongoing firm-wide sustainability analytics and LP engagement initiatives
