Job summary

Möbius is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to guide private and public organizations from strategy to action, designing and implementing sustainability policies and roadmaps. You will engage stakeholders, translate ESG strategies into concrete actions, and contribute to climate transition programs across sectors.

The role emphasizes strong project management, communication, and writing skills, with multilingual capabilities in Dutch, French, and English, and a focus on CSRD/Ecovadis reporting

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, sustainable development, environmental sciences, chemistry, economics).
• 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience addressing sustainability challenges.
• Strong project management, communication, and writing abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch, preferably with French and English as well.
• Preferably experience with CSRD/Ecovadis reporting frameworks and climate management (carbon footprint, SBTi, transition planning).

Responsibilities

In your role as a consultant...

You will guide both private and public organizations in designing and implementing sustainability policies, from strategic vision to action plans.

You support sustainability journeys: from ESG strategy and concrete actions, to implementation, to reporting and communication, while consistently engaging stakeholders throughout the process.

You contribute withintransition programs focused on systemic change (e.g., sustainable food chains, climate transition) and facilitate collaboration between governments, businesses, and research institutions.

You will run climate studies involving carbon footprint calculations (corporate/product) and translate these into transition plans and targets (e.g., SBTi).

You will develop proposals for sustainability strategies and roadmaps to support our commercial activities.

Our ideal colleague has...

A master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, sustainable development, environmental sciences, chemistry, or economics.

2 to 4 years of relevant work experience dealing with the sustainability challenges organizations face, with a willingness to dive deeper into specific topics.

Strong project management skills and the ability to independently analyze, summarize, and report data to clients.

Strong communication skills when interacting with clients, management, employees, and other stakeholders.

Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and deliverables.

Excellent knowledge of Dutch, preferably with a thorough knowledge of French and English as well.

Preferably experience with reporting frameworks (CSRD/Ecovadis) and climate management (corporate/product carbon footprint, SBTi, transition planning, etc.).
