Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to enhance sustainability performance across the organization. You will develop and manage initiatives, collect metrics, and report progress for internal and external stakeholders.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to advance energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of job-related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and managing Sustainability initiatives.
• Support projects focusing on energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon footprint reduction.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate sustainability into operations and decisions.
• Collect, analyze, and report sustainability metrics and KPIs.
• Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders, including annual reports.
• Track progress toward goals and suggest improvements.
• Document sustainable sourcing policies and supplier assessments.
• Monitor supplier compliance with sustainability standards.
• Work with procurement and supply chain to enhance product sustainability.
• Participate in cross-functional Sustainability projects.
