Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 0-5 years experience.
• Knowledge of general financial accounting and GAAP.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cost accounting and related duties in the accounting department including data and journal entries.
• Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly and addresses bank inquiries.
• Reconciles customer accounts and verifies invoice payments.
• Assists auditors with information gathering for annual audits.
• Performs filing, scanning and record keeping as needed.
• Manages credit applications, contracts, bonds, insurance certificates, and licenses.
