Job summary

RNR Tire Express is seeking a Suspension/Lift Technician to oversee all activity in the service shop in Johnson City, TN. You will ensure safety, complete paperwork, and manage inventory while performing lift kit and tire/wheel installations and alignments.

The role offers full-time employment with competitive pay ($18–$23/hr) and benefits including health plans, disability, and a 401k matching plan, with Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Must be able to install lift kits on trucks.
• Ability to install leveling kits and brakes.
• Ability to mount, balance and install tires and wheels.
• Experience with tire mounting/balancing equipment.
• Able to install vehicle lifts and perform alignments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activity in the service shop.
• Ensure shop safety guidelines are followed and paperwork completed.
• Maintain shop inventory, product, tools and equipment.
• Lift and organize heavy product, place orders, and manage inventory.

Suspension/Lift Technician Position Summary

The Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician (Service Specialist) is responsible for overseeing all activity within our service shop. They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed and maintaining shop inventory, product, tools, and equipment.

Compensation:

Make between $ 35,000- 50,000 w/ bonus

Requirements / Responsibilities:

1. Ability to do lift kits on trucks
2. Can install leveling kits
3. Install brakes
4. Ability to mount, balance and install tires and wheels
5. Use of tire mounting and balancing machines
6. Ability to install vehicle lifts
7. Well versed in alignments
8. Strong knowledge of light front-end work
9. Must be able lift 50lbs unassisted

Additionally:

Overseeing all activity in the installation shop Place product and supply orders Organize delivered merchandise Identify and properly tag all returned products Clean and maintain returned products Maintain an organized inventory system Control parts spending Must be able to lift and organize heavy product

Other Requirements:

Valid state driver license with a clean driving history Pass drug screen and background check

ASE Certification is preferred but not required

Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or an alignment tech is very helpful for success.#IND2

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
