Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in New York seeks a sushi prep team member to help prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls for in-store sale and to assist customers with made-to-order or special requests. You will learn traditional techniques alongside experienced sushi chefs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, making rolls and nigiri, keeping the kitchen clean, and upholding presentation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of kitchen experience, preferably in a sushi or Japanese restaurant.
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with sushi products.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a culinary setting.
