Momiji Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare ingredients for menu items and support Sushi Chefs and kitchen staff. You will organize storage, label foods, and ensure timely, attractive presentation of hot menu items while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires teamwork, a good attitude, and the ability to follow recipes and safety policies in a fast-paced kitchen. This is an in-house, on-site position with opportunities for growth within a family-owned brand.

Qualifications

• Must multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining tempo.
• Understand menu and cooking methods, safety procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist Sushi Chefs and kitchen staff.
• Follow recipes and maintain portion control and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen per regulations.
• Assist in stocking, ordering, and communicating needs to Head Sushi Chef.
• Support other kitchen staff and assist dining room as needed.
