THE JOB

As a Sushi Cook at Yellowcook, you will be responsible for expertly preparing sushi and other authentic Japanese dishes that delight our guests. Your warm smile and attentive service will enhance the dining experience, allowing you to connect with guests and understand their unique stories and needs. THE STARTING RATE

$27.0038 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes
  • Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation
  • Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities
  • Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
  • Follow recipes according to Chef specifications
  • Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected
  • Assist with pantry and preparation areas
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Is 18+ years of age
  • Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant Sushi experience
