Job summary

The Henry, part of Fox Restaurant Concepts in Plano, TX, is hiring a Sushi Cook to join our energetic kitchen team. You’ll prepare fresh sushi and other menu items in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You should have at least 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, and the stamina to stand long shifts; weekend work required. Competitive hourly pay with benefits after qualifying hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year high-volume restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills; stand for long periods; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Eye for detail; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food from scratch by following recipes to ensure consistency.
• Cook meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards; work clean.
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work weekends and some holidays.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant.
