Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Sushi Clerk for the Hy-Chi department in Wisconsin to deliver friendly service and help prepare fresh sushi products with a focus on safety and quality.
You will work in a fast-paced team environment, greet customers, handle orders, and assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked department. You’ll receive direction and support from: Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, Food Service Director, Hy-Chi Department Manager, Assistant Hy-Chi Department Manager, and Service Managers
Accountable and Reports to: Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, Food Service Director, Hy-Chi Department Manager, Assistant Hy-Chi Department Manager, and Service Managers
High school diploma or equivalent required
Food Safety Certification required
Six months of similar or related experience preferred
This is a fast-paced role with significant activity throughout your shift. You may encounter continuous exposure to raw fish, flour, dust, noise, and temperature extremes, with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals or solvents. Safety is always a priority, and training is provided to help ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.
