Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Survey Crew Chief in collection of survey data.

Primary Position Duties
  • Work as a member of a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. Also responsible for the operation and maintenance of survey equipment, taking field notes, data collection, performing calculations and working with staff and clients on these projects; involvement in the office will include reducing survey data, performing calculations, copying and filing of this data.
  • Maintains and operates all instruments and measuring devices needed to complete different types of survey work assignments; operates and maintains total stations and level.
Position Requirements
  • Fluent English with reading, written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work in Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams and other video conferencing software.
  • Ability to use Trimble Surveying Equipment and software or similar equipment/software. Ability to collect and analyze data, apply problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to independently or as part of a project team and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills are essential for this position
Education or Skills
  • Required: High school diploma
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Preferred: Two (2) years surveying experience
