Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Land Surveying to join its collaborative team in Bethlehem, PA. This role supports the Land Survey team by collecting field data and preparing survey maps and CAD files, offering exposure to progressive technologies and direct interaction with experienced survey professionals.

You will gain hands-on experience in boundary, topographic, utility, and architectural surveys, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while using AutoCAD and surveying equipment.

Formación

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering Technology, Survey, or Civil Engineering.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and judgment ability.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Field work involves boundary, topographic, utility, and architectural surveys.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Terramodel, Trimble, Leica, and Topcon equipment; GPS and TDS desirable.
• Travel may be required.

• Remain current on surveying practices, guidelines, and best practices; attend internal training to expand knowledge and skills; and
• Perform other duties as requested.

Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Intern/Co-op – Land Surveying to join its collaborative team in Bethlehem, PA. This individual will serve a key function in providing support to the Land Survey team in the collection of field data and information related to the preparation of survey maps and CAD files. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of progressive technologies as you work directly with an experienced and dynamic team of survey professionals and interact with technical specialists in other disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year degree in Engineering Technology, Survey, or Civil Engineering;
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred;
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;
• Field work that will require conducting boundary, topographic, utility, and architectural surveys;
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of Terramodel, Trimble, Leica and Topcon Total Stations, Trimble GPS and TDS is desired; and
• Travel may be required based on business needs and project assignments. Travel requirements may vary by position and may change based on business needs.
