The Survey Project Manager is responsible for the coordination with internal and/or external clients regarding various survey projects as well as QA/QC functions.

This individual is responsible for working with the Project Team Leader and Business Practice Leader to develop the scope of services required for survey task requests; estimating the cost and schedule requirements for the scope of work; obtaining approvals; and monitoring the delivery of services as well as QA/QC functions through the completion of the project.

The Survey Project Manager will support the development of qualification materials to support project pursuits. Additionally, the professional in this role will direct and participate in the preparation of survey deliverables, communicating with clients to ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with the client needs.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required, Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 10 years' geospatial consulting experience required; minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal, State and other regulations regarding land surveying; DOT experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, instruments utilized for land surveying
  • Ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D required; Bentley OpenRoads experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, and best practices associated with the land surveying profession
  • PLS preferred
Salary

$100,000 - $120,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
