Surveying And Mapping, LLC in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying projects from planning through final delivery. You will manage scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, billing, and overall financial performance while coordinating field and office teams on concurrent projects.

You will provide technical oversight, sign/seal survey deliverables, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Previous industry-related experience in a professional or project management capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale projects.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak and MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solve on the fly.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration.
  • Professional License preferred.

Responsibilities

The Survey Project Manager is responsible for leading land surveying projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, company quality standards, and financial objectives.

Acting as the primary liaison between SAM and its clients, the Survey Project Manager oversees both field and office teams, supports business development efforts across multiple markets, and contributes to staff growth and development.
