Role Description The Survey Practice Leader role is a full‑time, hybrid position based in South Florida. This role is responsible for leading and growing the local survey practice, including managing survey projects from proposal through completion, overseeing field and office survey staff, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables that meet client and regulatory requirements. The Survey Practice Leader will develop and implement survey methodologies, coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, and maintain strong relationships with clients, public agencies, and other stakeholders. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include reviewing survey data and drawings, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, mentoring team members, and contributing to business development by identifying opportunities, preparing scopes and budgets, and participating in client meetings. The role also involves supporting process improvements, adopting new technologies, and reinforcing Langan’s commitment to integrity, innovation, and client service.
