OVERVIEW (Archer Wright JV) is currently seeking a Party Chief for the (TSENC/I-26 Downtown Connector), in (Asheville, NC).

The Party Chief's Primary function to supervise members of the survey crew and perform topography surveys, field layout, and coordinate with jobsite survey manager. • Oversee field surveying tasks such as topography, field layout, boundary layout, and data collection
• Ability to coordinate with survey manager, that may be offsite, and with project management staff for daily operations
• Provide care to survey equipment and understand usage of data collection equipment and upgrades to technology
• May be required to work as a one-person crew;
• May perform other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
