Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced survey professional for a contract-to-hire role based in Princeton, NJ. The candidate will set up stakeouts for the survey crew and create stakeout topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys from field notes.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (2015+) is required, plus strong metes-and-bounds writing, deed research, and cut sheets preparation. The role emphasizes leading field crews, organizing site information, and delivering precise survey drawings for boundary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the survey industry.
• Hands-on experience with construction stakeout for survey projects.
• Ability to create boundary and ALTA survey drawings from field notes.
• Proficiency in writing metes and bounds descriptions.
• Ability to perform property and deed research to support survey work.
• Competence in preparing cut sheets and related construction documentation.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Princeton, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $57.69/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
