Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveying operations across multiple locations including Cincinnati, OH. You will guide ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys while managing field data and client coordination.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a Survey Crew Chief role, strong knowledge of survey principles, and experience with total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors. Travel regionally and nationally is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and field procedures.
• Experience operating total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Ability to work independently and lead field crews.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field surveying activities for ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Locate property boundaries, monuments, utilities, improvements, and related site features.
• Collect, verify, reduce, and manage field data for project completion.
• Coordinate daily with Project Managers regarding schedules, progress, and project needs.
• Maintain survey equipment and troubleshoot field issues as needed.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal team members.

Title: Survey Crew Chief - Land Surveying
Location: Chicago, IL / San Francisco, CA / Cincinnati, OH
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000

We are a nationally recognized land surveying, engineering, and environmental services firm with more than 130 years of industry experience. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field survey operations and support projects and are hiring for those in any of the above locations.
