Job summary

Montana Resources is seeking intern applicants across several engineering disciplines for field and site work in a demanding mining environment. You will support engineering teams with general labor tasks and assist in diverse projects at the mine site.

Qualified candidates are enrolled in a secondary education program for fall 2027 and must be able to work in outdoor conditions with physical tasks such as lifting, walking, and climbing as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in one or more of the listed engineering disciplines.
• Interest in field work within a mining environment and associated teams.
• Willingness to comply with safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with general labor tasks around the mine site.
• Follow all safety procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties to support the engineering department.

• Ability to work on uneven ground and in elevated areas
• Capable of performing physically demanding labor for extended periods
