Job summary

The Kleingers Group seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead field data collection and boundary retracing on construction sites across varying terrains. You will operate surveying instruments, compile field notes, and coordinate with a seasoned team to deliver accurate data for mapping and design.

Ideal candidates have extensive land surveying experience, a strong math background, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring safety on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ consecutive years' work experience in Land Survey is required.
• Travel overnight may be required.
• Good math background with experience with electronic surveying instruments, field data collectors and GPS.
• Established history of working safely in the field.
• Must be self-driven, work autonomously, and able to complete workload without direct supervision.
• Good communication skills needed for client and internal contacts.
• Valid driver's license that meets company insurable standards.

Responsibilities

Do you enjoy working outdoors using the latest survey equipment to retrace boundary lines and collect data for mapping and design?

Work on construction sites from an open field to wooded areas with varying terrain. Compile notes, sketches and records of data obtained in the field. You'll need a solid knowledge and experience with the operation of all surveying equipment, including automatic level, Robotic total station, data collection and GPS work. Be part of our seasoned team members who are willing to provide additional learning opportunities and focused on safety in the field while providing great client service.

Role and Qualifications include:
