Leoforce in Wichita, KS is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead daily field operations on civil projects. This hands-on role focuses on layout, data collection, and ensuring accuracy of field measurements, with outdoors work and tight project schedules.

The position requires prior field surveying experience, comfort with extended hours, and a valid driver's license. Training is available for GPS and total station equipment. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Formación

• Prior field surveying experience preferred.
• Exposure to construction layout and/or topographic surveying.
• Experience with GPS and total station equipment is a plus (training available).
• Ability to work extended hours and overtime.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily field tasks.

Responsabilidades

Job Details

The Survey Crew Chief leads daily field survey operations on active construction and civil projects. This position is responsible for layout, data collection, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of field measurements. The role is hands-on and best suited for someone who prefers working outdoors, taking ownership of field work, and supporting fast-moving projects.

Projects are typically short duration and schedule-driven, requiring efficiency, accuracy, and strong field judgment.
