The role involves operating surveying equipment, collecting precise field data, interpreting plans, and ensuring safety and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, and a strong ability to read plans and establish control points.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily survey crew activities in the field.
• Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and engineering surveys.
• Operate and maintain Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, data collectors, and other surveying instruments.
• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, survey documents, and specifications.
• Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, elevations, and coordinates.
• Perform accurate measurements, calculations, staking, and layout for construction projects.
• Collect, record, and verify field data for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct construction layout for foundations, utilities, roads, structures, and other site improvements.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, surveyors, engineers, contractors, and field personnel.
• Maintain survey equipment and report any equipment issues or calibration requirements.
• Ensure all field activities comply with company safety policies and project requirements.
• Train and provide direction to survey crew members as needed.
• Maintain accurate field notes, records, and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
