Virginia based Civil/Surveying Firm is looking for an employee with high integrity and an attention to detail to be a land Survey Party Chief. This is a permanent position with very good medical, vacation/sick, and 401k.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Significant experience working on a survey crew for a Civil or SurveyEngineering Firm.
• Ability to work asa Survey Crew Chief on a 2-man crew.
• Experience with GPS.
• Perform mathematical calculations, topos, and field checking of data.
• Boundary experience.
• Take accurate and clear notes and perform note reduction.
• Well versed with staking, marking plans, and specifications.
• Experience in controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators.
