Job summary

Mountain Plains, LLC is seeking a driven land surveying professional to provide services with a mix of office and field time in Wyoming. You will perform construction staking, boundary and topographic surveys, route utilities, and identify property ownership, using Trimble GPS, Total Station, and Trimble Business Center.

The role requires 3–5 years of field surveying experience, sharp analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years field surveying using GPS or Total Station.
• A surveying license is not required.
• Proficient computer and technical skills.
• Keen analytical & critical thinking with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail focused with ability to adapt to changing customer priorities.
• Ability to work both in office and outdoors in adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction staking as well as boundary, as-built and topographic surveying.
• Route pipelines, roadways, electrical lines and other utilities.
• Selecting and field fitting well pads and construction staging pads.
• Research and identify property ownership, corner records and existing surface rights-of-ways.
• Utilize Trimble GPS, Total Station, and Trimble Level equipment.
• Prepare and manage data files within Trimble Business Center.
• Foster client communication within oil & gas, transportation, utility and private sectors.
• Envision, anticipate, resolve and communicate customers’ challenges.
• Operate a company-provided vehicle with trailer & UTV.
• Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure safe work habits.

Responsibilities:
