Job summary

Galloway & Company, LLC in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician to join our team. This is not a remote opportunity, and you will contribute to surveying projects across multiple states with field data processing and CAD drafting.

Responsibilities include processing field data in Trimble Business Center, creating 3D surfaces in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and collaborating with PMs and PLS staff to meet budgets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD drafting for survey projects.
• Typically 2 years of survey experience.
• Ability to learn Trimble Business Center quickly.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey drafting.
• Not a remote position.

• Organization skills and ability to multi-task with various projects thru the course of a day.
• General understanding of GPS.
• Ability to complete and pass both a background check and drug screen.
• QA/QC work and collaborate with the project PM or PLS to complete.
• Understands Municipal Control Networks.
• Ability to work with other team members.
• Work within project budgets and deadlines.
• Work overtime when needed.
• Aerial imagery processing (preferred but not required).
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for Survey drafting.
• Must be proficient and knowledgeable to create 3D surfaces from field data.
• Handle multiple survey requirements for various states and clients.
• Self-starter.

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $20.00 – $35.00.
